Description :

The relatively small cella of the temple of Despoina was dominated by a cultic group of statues comprising four significantly over life-size acrolithic-technique figures as well as a highly ornate throne for the central figures of Despoina and Demeter.  Despoina and Demeter are sitting on the throne, Artemis and the Titan Anytos, who educated Despoina, stand alongside.  The group exists only in fragments and in a description by Pausanias in his Description of Greece (8.37.1).

How about this one? I did it from the list serve discussion back in March from Colette Lunday Brautigam at Lawrence University. Should the reconstruction drawings of non extant works be part of the work or a work in its own right? And how about those fragments? All together?
