Description :

"The cathedral's impressive tower overlooks this square from the northwest.  Beautiful 16C and 18C facades, with crow-stepped or scrolled gables, line the other sides of the square."

"St.-Romboutskathedraal--This Gothic building is remarkable for its grandiose tower which is as wide as the nave.  Graceful pinnacles decorate the buttresses along the side aisles and elegant gables adorn the east end.  Tower--This tower, considered the most beautiful in Belgium, forms the facade and porch; it measures 97m/318ft in height.  Begun in 1452, it was designed to reach the surprising height of 167m/548 ft, but the project was shelved in 1521.  The Keldermans dynasty of architects directed the construction.  The awesome proportions combine with powerful, yet subtle vertical lines to create an unforgettable impression.  Vauban called this the Eighth Wonder of the World."  [The Green Guide: Belgium, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Michelin Travel Publications, 2001, p. 247-248]

This one needs some help with the subjects. Could only find "plaza" in LCSH and I'm sorry but that does not fit for a northern European markt / place.
